The mountain pond

Sadly I got a little impatient with the watercolor (I need to think ahead more when I use it, can't just push and pull like with charcoal or oil paint) so a few hours in I was all 'yeah but the colours aren't vivid enough...' and proceeded to paint the water so dark it looked like mud :/ I actually got pretty bored with this and left it to gather dust several months ago, then decided to get it done once and for all by going at it with an artline pen- can't say I'm unhappy with the result

Unfortunately we can't wade around in the pond anymore- though I ride past it every time I go up the hill some farmers have fenced it off, so no more playing in the water
