Yes, I cannot draw humans BUT! The reason why I am doing this is so I will be forced to draw more people and thus improve over time!
I also think this is great for art practice as you can look back at your earlier submissions and see how far you've come!

Name: Marcus Auster
Age: 17
Trainer type: Challenger
Background: “I have better things to do than battle you”
From Sinnoh, Marcus was brought up in Florama Town with his younger brother Jason. Being in a town boarded by a forest, river and mountain terrain he and Jason were brought up around a wide variety of Pokémon.
If he ever lets you get to know him most people find Marcus is actually quite sensitive to things, which is the reason he does not want to be friends.
It is unknown why Marcus is so determined to beat the gyms or why he left home to come all the way over to Kanto in the first place.

-Unlike most newbies he has a good amount of knowledge about type advantages and attacks, however being from Sinnoh he doesn’t recognize many of the Kanto Pokémon.
-HATES being stereotyped but has no problem doing it to others.
-Marcus is extremely claustrophobic, he will not go into tight spaces and if he somehow does find himself in one he will panic and do anything to escape. This is the main reason why he doesn’t keep his Pokémon in their balls unless absolutely necessary.
-He hates cities and will do whatever he can to avoid them.
-He will not listen to people if he doesn’t think they’re worth the time.
-He has good hearing and will notice things a lot quicker than others.
-He is very good at imitating bird noises.
-He always seems to be in a hurry to get things done.
-Even though he acts annoyed towards Kerria being a pikachu he is relieved she is an electric type as he is familiar with electric attacks from spending time with his mother’s electrike.
-When it comes to fight or flight Marcus is a pacifist and will either try to calm down his opponent or just walk away. If pushed too far he does know how to throw a punch.
-Is great at climbing things.
-Gets quite hyped up when it comes to battling Pokémon, much to his later annoyance afterwards.

Like her parents, Kerria was bred and born into the care of humans. For one reason or another, whether she was just born no good or did not receive the right training Kerria does not know how to battle, or more specifically, has trouble using electric attacks. Although it’s no hardship ramming into your opponent using some form of tackle, Kerria lacks a very large portion of self-confidence and is also very shy.

-Marcus was originally going to name her ‘Volt’, however after recognizing her as female named her Kerria, after the bright yellow flowers that grew around his home in Sinnoh.
-Kerria is very grateful to Marcus for being her trainer (even if it wasn’t intentional), as despite being shy she always wanted to explore the outside world.
-She is prone to freeze mid-battle out of fear, usually resulting in her getting hurt and reinforcing this habit.
